746 Shop began as more than a retail experience—it was a destination. Nestled in cottage country, the original concept fused a curated gift shop with a high-end food truck, ice cream bar, garden patio, and live local entertainment. As the community connection deepened, an opportunity emerged to evolve the brand beyond its physical footprint.

The vision: extend the lifestyle 746 had come to represent into a boutique clothing line that could travel home with customers, while creating a new revenue stream that wasn’t tied to location or seasonality.

Wynn & Howe supported the growth strategy to expand 746 Shop from a destination-based retail experience to a lifestyle brand with an online presence.

Brand Extension & Product Strategy
Leveraging the already beloved 746 brand, we identified the emotional touchpoints that customers connected with—coziness, creativity, quality, and a sense of place. This informed the design direction for the clothing line, which included ethically sourced basics, leisurewear, and branded cottage staples.

eCommerce Development
An online store was developed with an editorial-style layout, blending product photography with storytelling. The digital experience echoed the in-person vibe: relaxed, thoughtful, and stylish. Conversion-focused features like “Shop the Look” and limited-edition drops helped build early traction and brand excitement.

 

Marketing & Growth Planning
Email campaigns, Instagram storytelling, and seasonal product launches were introduced to mirror the rhythm of life at 746. Geo-targeted promotions captured both local traffic and city-based customers who visited once but wanted to reconnect. The tone of voice remained authentic and unpolished, just like the experience it was born from.
